Logeerboot Rotterdam-Kralingen is located in a quiet area. Erasmus University is very near.

Rotterdam Centre is easy to reach with tram 21 or 24. It takes less than 15 minutes. If you walk along the river you will be in the center in 20 minutes. It’s a nice walk with fantastic views.

Art and architecture

Check out the Museumpark where several museums are clustered together

Nice for kids: the Maritime Museum (nautical history) in the Leuvehaven.

On the south side of the Maas is the Dutch Photograpy Museum. This area is a mix of modern buildings and vintage warehouses.

Foodsafari

Take a foodsafari in Rotterdam and you will find many exciting spots. First of all, discover the Fenix Food Factory, an indoor fresh foods market located in an old warehouse. Taste real Rotterdam bread and beer. Moreover, at Deli Square on the Kaap (Katendrecht) you find several interesting restaurants.

Hofbogen

Another foody location is close to Rotterdam Central Station. The Hofbogen (the arches under the railway viaduct). Here you find some very nice restaurants and bars. Most noteworthy, BIRD, a club with restaurant. Jazz, soul, latin, hiphop, afro beat and above all, great pizzas.

Nieuwe Binnenweg

A long road with restaurants and shops from all over the world. A mix of sgtreet food and hipster things.

Witte de Withstraat

This is another international foodie location. Plenty of bars an restaurants, as well as galleries, and shops. It’s all there.
